To be a total services contractor for railroads and industry, Hulcher Services maintains a wide variety of equipment at its divisions. Much of our equipment is the standard heavy pieces. Some projects require highly specialized types of equipment, designed to perform very specific tasks. Outside of those categories is another type of equipment, the support equipment.

Our Hytracker® rail cart is a low-profile rear-loading platform that provides on-track access to excavators that aren’t equipped with hi-rail gear. The rail cart is powered by the excavator’s hydraulic system via a quick-coupling system; once connected, the cart and excavator become a self-propelled system that travels on track to reach even the most inaccessible places.

Our forklift have different lift capacities, but all are capable of delivering a variety of Load Transfer & Load Adjustment Services including derailment support, load reductions/load adjustments, load transfer services, post-spill clean-up services, transload services, construction, maintenance services, and manual labor.

Environmental response trailers are comparably equipped so relief crews can step into a trailer from another division and immediately know what supplies are available. All equipment and materials in the trailers are maintained through a critical inspection process to ensure everything is serviceable, operational and fully stocked at all times.
Emergency Response Trailers are used Environmental & Industrial Services, and Disaster & Emergency Response Services.
Our Spill Response Trailer is a consolidated, mobile equipment and supplies resource in a trailer. It is designed for emergency response, environmental remediation, waste consolidation/disposal*, tank cleaning and other tank services, industrial maintenance, and line cleaning.

Our Mobile Command Center offers a complete state of the art communication and office facility on wheels for use at natural disasters or emergencies. The Mobile Command Center provides a dedicated, centralized office for the management and incident command functions that are critical to control emergency situations.

Our Food Van operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We can supply tents, tables, chairs and outside lighting to provide a comfortable place for your crews. Between meals, the van can serve as a place for meetings or as a break space for workers to escape the elements.

Our light plant is a generator-powered, mobile light system that provides illumination over a large area. Configurations for Hulcher's light plants vary with the brand and model, but a typical light plant will feature four 1250-watt lights, extendable up to 30 feet high on the system's mast. The plant is mounted on a two-wheel steel trailer that can be towed by Hulcher's pick-up trucks or other over-the-road vehicles.The light plant's four-point stabilization design keeps the equipment safely in position even when the mast is fully extended.

To operate the jet we employ a full-time staff of veteran Captains and First Officers ready to quickly respond to emergency situations with disaster response services anywhere in the United States, Canada and Mexico. With the jet we are able to quickly pick up our relief crews from any of our divisions and deliver them to any of more than 5,000 airports.
Citation Jets are used for Railroad & Mechanical Services and Disaster & Emergency Response Services.
