POST SPILL CLEANUP SERVICES

A spill can happen for many reasons. It might have been the result of worker error. It could happen as a result of a derailment. Sometimes weather creates a spill, as when flood waters result in expanding grain that causes grain silos to collapse. Hulcher frequently performs post spill clean-up work as part of derailment response projects or environmental services projects.

Hulcher Services can mobilize the people and equipment to do a full-service recovery operation, sort or segregate the material, recondition the product, do site restoration, remediation and clean up. Our seasoned professionals can evaluate the commodity and recommend a course of action to salvage any usable items. When necessary we can dispose of unsalvageable product or coordinate disposal through a licensed waste hauler*.

Hulcher maintains a variety of specialized equipment for performing load transfers. Our equipment includes:

  • Caterpillar® Excavator/Track Hoe
  • Caterpillar® Sideboom
  • Caterpillar® Track Loader
  • Caterpillar® Wheel Loader
  • Hi-Rail Crane
  • Hi-Rail Vacuum Truck or Transfer Vacuum Truck
  • Hi-Rail Rotary Dump Truck/Dump Truck
  • and more...

For your project to be successful, you need a quality equipment, maintained to be reliable and operated by an experienced railroad professional. When your load transfer project calls for equipment that is properly equipped, expertly operated and available when you need it, call Hulcher at 833-316-0035 .

* Analysis, containment, treatment, transport, and disposal of material are each conducted in full compliance with relevant federal and applicable state laws/ regulations (licensing, permitting, procedural and operational protocol) which sometimes requires the participation of fellow contractors engaged by the customer and/or Hulcher subcontractors.
