Hulcher Services Inc. is able to transfer bulk commodities such as grain, fertilizer or food materials with our specialized Neuero® Hi-Rail Transfer Vacuum Truck.

 

These hi-rail vacuum trucks are designed to move product at a 2,500 bushel capacity rate per hour. The transfer vacuum truck is particularly valuable for grain and food facilities, moving grain, fertilizer, pellets and other food product material out of and into rail cars, trucks, storage bins, and grain silos.

The transfer vacuum truck is particularly valuable for grain and food facilities, moving grain, fertilizer, pellets and other food product material out of and into rail cars, trucks, storage bins, and grain silos.

 

The Neuero® Hi-Rail Transfer Vacuum Truck is equipped with 550 feet of 8-inch aluminum tubing and a variety of collection nozzles to facilitate transfers of various materials over large areas. The truck is also fitted with hi-rail gear so it can perform transfers and clean-ups in remote areas not accessible by roads.

 

Anyone who has worked with railroad contractors knows that the most important part of a transfer vacuum truck is the person at the controls, the operator. Hulcher’s operators are railroad specialists. They have received training in railroad applications, are current in safety and security certification requirements for all Class I railroads, and have spent years perfecting their craft in maintenance-of-way environments.

 

In addition, Hulcher's liability insurance policies expressly delete the usual exclusion for work within 25 or 50 feet of railroads, and include the statement "any work within 50 feet of a railroad is included."

Project Snapshot - Hulcher Forklift and Crew Perform Load Adjustment on Load of Roofing Tiles Eighteen pallets of roofing tiles on a center beam railcar shifted during transit, crushing their pallets and damaging the banding. Hulcher sent a crew of five personnel, a forklift, replacement pallets and a banding machine to remedy the problem.

Project Snapshot - Telehandler and Conveyor Perform Load Reduction of Alfalfa Pellets The railroad needed a load of alfalfa pellets to be reduced by 10,000 lbs. Hulcher deployed a CaterpillarŽ TH560B telehandler, a conveyor and a haul truck.
