Track Panel Installation
For more than 40 years, Hulcher Services has removed and installed track panel for Class I and short line railroads.
Hulcher performs track panel removal and installation as part of scheduled maintenance-of-way work, in response to natural disasters such as flooding or as a follow-up to derailments.
As a total services railroad contractor, Hulcher’s integrated capabilities allow us to provide a turnkey solution for maintaining the right-of-way or responding to emergency situations. We can perform the entire process ourselves, from delivering the panels to bucking the ballast after the installation is complete.

Track Panel Installation With the Panel Boss®
Hulcher also offers the exciting new Panel Boss®, which provides an alternative method for moving and installing track panel quickly, safely and cost-effectively.The Panel Boss® is an excavator attachment that eliminates the need for the ground crew and chains. The excavator operator controls the Panel Boss® directly from the cab, placing it on the panel and activating its pins. With the device’s pins in place, the excavator can lift the panel, rotate it to any angle, and place it exactly where it needs to go.
